Wilderness First Aid (5 Week Course)

We are thrilled to keep expanding the Preserve Academy curriculum with fun and useful classes that teach life-saving skills to our students! Wilderness First Aid teaches much more than the title says. It also teaches leadership skills, problem solving, and the ability to make proper choices when someone has an injury.

Are you prepared to deal with a life-threatening trauma? Are you certified in CPR or know how to treat someone in shock? When is the last time you needed to adapt and overcome during an emergency with help a distance away? It is better to know these medical tips and techniques in advance rather than end up in a situation where you need them but don’t have them.

Learn how to treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries in less-than ideal situations and environments. This class combines classroom presentation and hands-on learning to ensure you have an opportunity to practice the skills you are taught. Please see the attached flyer for just some of the topics that will be covered by veteran Fire Fighter/EMT instructor, Bob Shields!

Hikers, campers, adventurers, parents, coaches, law-abiding citizens, children, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, families, and so many more would benefit from this valuable training.
