Basic Wound Management

This (4) hour course covers the lifesaving techniques of bleeding control using wound packing and tourniquets, management of chest wounds, and splinting. This is a hands-on class and we provide all the materials needed!

Whether you carry a gun or not, it is crucial to be able to provide treatment of chest wounds, control bleeding with a tourniquet, and conduct basic splinting techniques. This class is geared for the general public to provide lifesaving techniques while waiting for professional help to arrive. There will be practical skills stations which include wound packing, tourniquets, and splinting.
