Low-Light Pistol Shooting (200) – According to the FBI, the majority of shootings occur in low light conditions, yet a majority of firearms training is conducted in daylight conditions. Here is an opportunity to bring your training to the next level and add new skills to your firearms training.
We cover the physiology of vision in reduced light, target identification, shoot and no-shoot situations, gun mounted lights, hand-held flashlights, low-light shooting drills, and more! Students should have prior shooting experience.
Required equipment: Semi-automatic handgun or revolver, spare magazine, 150 rounds, handheld flashlight, eye protection, and ear protection.
Required prerequisites: NRA Basic Pistol class, Defensive Handgun 200 and One-Handed Shooter class.
