Tactical Carbine (100)
This four (4) hour class explores the operation of the AR-15 rifle and gives an overview of direct gas impingement and piston driven operating systems. We also cover firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, stance, grip, breathing, re-loading, and Phase 1 malfunctions for the AR rifle.
This class is for the shooter who has never fired an AR or is new to using an AR style firearm. We will give you a solid foundation on how to operate your AR rifle and prepare you for more advanced AR shooting skills and rifle manipulations. On top of that, refreshments and lunch is served free of charge!
Students should bring an AR style rifle, 2 magazines, approximately 200 rounds of ammunition, eye, and ear protection. A reliable sling is required for this class. A plate carrier, vest, and/or magazine pouches are strongly recommended.
